I am so proud to introduce myself to you as the Owner/Lead Trainer of Turn 2 CrossFit. My wife Heather and I have two children (ChrisAnn & Taylor) and two grand children (Zane & Logan), oh and a third Grandson due in the summer of 2014. We have lived in Temecula over 25 years.  We have owned and operated a local business in town called Stadium Pizza since 1988.  We pride ourselves most of all in our community involvement over that time. We are very excited to enter this new phase of our lives with Turn 2 Crossfit.  I have been doing CrossFit now for over four years and have loved it since day ONE! Heather introduced it to me back then and I have never looked back.  I find it to be my return to what I like to do most of all, help people. I also love the competition that CrossFit gives to all of us Athletes.  I feel as though that helps drive us in our daily lives.  I have coached at all levels and all ages in my lifetime.  I have coached baseball for the past 15 years at all levels, starting from my sons little league teams to having the opportunity to be the Strength and Conditioning Coach for The Palomar Junior College Baseball Team in 2012.

My goals for T2CF are simple.  I am looking to get all of our Athletes not only "FIT", but to try and help them understand what "FIT" truly encompasses.  We want our Athletes to feel Comfortable when they walk in and Uncomfortably Happy when they leave.  We want them to feel as though they are part of something special when they are here. CrossFit is about helping each other.  CrossFit exemplifies COMMUNITY!!!  We hope that we can continue to do this for all of our ATHLETES!!

Sincerely,

Coach Tony

Being active and staying fit has always been a way of life for me. My competitive drive and spirit began as a kid playing sports. That same drive led me to a career in law enforcement, which began over 18 years ago. I have been training, mentoring and coaching officers for over a decade. As a full time law enforcement officer, I currently supervise and train a local Special Weapons and Tactics Team. Law enforcement, fire and military careers come with the element of unknown daily physical challenges. Before CrossFit, I would work out 5-6 times per week, running, biking, swimming and weight lifting, anything and everything to stay in shape, be prepared and of course, satisfy my competitive drive. This was very time consuming and it was difficult to balance work, family and personal training. Through constantly varied functional movement workouts, CrossFit has allowed me to reach a more complete level of fitness and even turned my training time into family time, as my wife and kids also train with me. It is truly a one stop shop for cardio, strength training and overall fitness. CrossFit prepares me for the unknown and the unknowable. It prepares my twin teenage boys for their high school sports programs and my wife for her everyday activities. We have never been more ready for life’s challenges. The CrossFit community is encouraging, supportive and very family oriented. I personally have over a dozen family members in the CrossFit community. Many of which are a part of the Turn2CrossFit family. I enjoy coaching and helping others discover their abilities and watching them grow.

Strength & Honor,

Coach Phil

CrossFit is not just a way to get fit; it redefines what "fitness" means and how fitness is a lifestyle choice that spans your everyday activities, ranging from how you work out to your nutrition intake to proper recovery. I have been a devoted “CrossFitter” for over a year and my wife is also an active athlete at the box.  My wife and I have two young kids that have also become very enthusiastic about CrossFit and fitness as a way of life. CrossFit provides me with an outlet to once again compete at a high level as I grew up playing competitive volleyball from junior high through community college. I also coached travel teams with Viper Volleyball and Asics Tigers, including the Junior Olympics.  Coaching CrossFit is similar to coaching athletes in any other sport: the same approach cannot be taken for each and every individual. Everybody has a different set of goals, personalities, and level of fitness.   However, in each case, my objective is to effectively motivate and ensure that all of the Turn2CrossFitters are prepared and skilled in everyday functional movements and support each other as teammates.

See you at the Box,

Coach "Beeb"
